Character Name: Marshall Jones

Age: 39

Appearance: Standing in at roughly six foot three inches, Marshall could best be described as a twig. All limbs and the type of muscle you get from gentle exercise, not lifting weights. His dark brown (almost black) hair is due for a cut, a bit shaggy beneath his hat. His eyes are blue, almost grey in the right light. Wrinkles are starting to settle in on his forehead much to his dismay, living among immortals leaves you with an unhealthy obsession with age. Mister Jones has the type of tan you get from labouring outside most of the day.

Species: Human

Sexuality: All cats are grey in the dark

Personality: Usually reserved unless around people he's familiar with, Marshall comes off as anti-social and sometimes even a hermit. A deep set and unhealthy obsession with all things supernatural has warped him somewhat, leaving him worried about his mortality more than anything. His hot button would be the death of his wife and daughter at the hands of a mystery vampire, this usually ends up with someone gaining a broken nose at best.

Background: Raised in Australia, the land of the mortal fools, Marshall had a semi normal childhood. It was anything but dull though. As he hit his teenage years, hunting trips with his father were normal. Simple things like rabbits and foxes were normal to hunt.

When he was eighteen, he left to travel the world. Every country Marshall visited, he was greeted with a smile and a warning. Those fairytale creatures you feared when you were little? They'll devour you quicker than an excited Scout will scull a can of Bonk. After a few months of drifting without much to do, he settled in a quiet locale, finding himself face to face with a small group of hunters and a woman who was his future wife.

After ten or so years of hunting the supernatural, Mister Jones settled with the now Missus Jones and fathered a beautiful daughter whom he raised lovingly. Though it wasn't all peaches and cream, after returning from a visit with his parents, he finds his little girl and wife rotting in the house, no signs of forced entry. Marshall found out later that a vampire posing as a salesman had somehow gotten himself invited in and took advantage of that to kill his own little family. Financially and emotionally devastated by the funerals, the now bitter and paranoid man was forced out onto the street. Working for minimal wage and desperately trying to get back into the hunting business, the Australian was (un)lucky to chance upon a generous stranger who offered him a better job while he tried to (and eventually became) become a hunter again.

The only thing is, this stranger has his own agenda, using Marshall for his own dirty little deeds.

Anything else you want to add: Articles were published about the deaths of his wife and daughter so I suppose it would be known.
