Character Name: Jeremy Phillips

Age: 19

Appearance: The only difference from his usual appearance is that his headphones cover both ears, not just the left one.

Sexuality: Never really thought about it.

Powers: Super hearing - he can hear a pen drop on a windy day in the busiest city on Earth, from 2 miles away. Of course, this means that he is easily crippled by loud or high-frequency noises.

Personality: He doesn't care whether he's associated with the "good guys" or the "bad guys". The only people he will associate with are the ones who don't get on his nerves, or more specifically, those who don't make him want to claw out his ears and die in a hole. He comes off as a selfish little prick with little respect for others, and for the most part that is true to his very core. He is selfish and he really doesn't give a flying fuck about what other think about his attitude, but that doesn't mean he can't grow to like a select few people.

Background: Up until the middle of his grade school years, he was the poster child of every American family. Always smiling, loved to play outdoors with his friends, and an active member of his boy scout troop. His family with his two loving parents and his many brothers were the epitome of normal until the day came when the development of his powers began to show. During recess at Jeremy's school, he was in the middle of a kickball game when he suddenly collapsed half-way between home and first base. He was crying and screaming for people to stop talking, but there was no one speaking except for the teachers who were calling his parents and an ambulance. He was hospitalized for three days before being transferred to a more specialized hospital.

He remained in this new hospital for years where doctors still could not determine the cause of his head-splitting pains, but they were at least able to determine that keeping Jeremy in solitary confinement made his head pains significantly easier to bear. His room never needed to be locked because Jeremy never felt the inclination to leave the small, sound proof room. Why would he if this was the only place where he was mostly free of the overwhelming noise of the outside? His family visited him sometimes, but all of them except for his mother stopped seeing him after his constant snaps at them about how they were being too loud.
